Leather Care Instructions
To ensure that your NILO bag retains its soft and supple texture, we recommend a few simple care steps for your beloved bag. We have developed a leather care guide specifically for our NILO products, which will help you keep your bag waterproof, supple, and radiant for a long time.
Please note that different types of leather age differently and some are more sensitive than others. However, with our leather care guide, you can be sure that you are taking optimal care of your NILO bag and will enjoy it for a long time.
water & dirt
Our high-quality leather is very resistant to water, dirt, and scratches. However, there are a few things to keep in mind:
If your NILO handbag gets very wet, wipe off the water as quickly as possible and let the bag air dry, away from sunlight and heat (no hairdryer!).
Clean your NILO bag from time to time with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove dirt.
Care
Care for your NILO bag every 2-3 months with a leather conditioner that contains fats and/or oils to restore moisture and maintain the appearance of the material. This keeps your bag waterproof and ensures that the leather and color continue to look their best.
Please keep away from alcohol or acetone-containing products, as they can cause severe damage to your leather bag by stripping the material of its color and leaving faded spots.
Storage & Mould Maintenance
If you do not use your bag for an extended period, fill the inside with a pillow or a towel to help it maintain its shape over time.
